If you like anything and everything about snow, you may be inspired by the meaning of the word Himachal. ‘The land of snows’, the meaning, is adequate to give you an idea of what to expect here. Himachal Pradesh is located in the western Himalayas. Surrounded by splendid mountains, out of which some still call out and challenge mankind to conquer them, the beauty of the land is beyond imagination. Shimla, one of the most captivating hill stations, is the capital of the state. Himachal Pradesh truly awaits your presence and challenges you to delve deeper into their layers of surprises.
Embedded along a 12km ridge, with steep forested hillsides falling away in all directions, the Himachal capital is a good invitation for the awe-inspiring mountain tracts of the state’s interior. Shimla is one of India’s most popular hill resorts, buzzing with a happy flow of Indian vacationers and foreigners, full of relics of its previous life as the summer capital of British India. Traffic is banned from the central part of town, so walking is pleasant – even while huffing and puffing uphill. The long, winding main street, the Mall, runs east and west just below the spine of the hill. South of it, the maze-like alleys of the bustling bazaar outrun steeply down to traffic-infested Cart Rd. From mid-July to mid-September, Shimla is frequently wreathed in cloud, and in winter it often gets a layer of snow and it forms a carpet. Bet you must be thinking about visiting this place now and that is why there are schemes available for all you travel enthusiasts. Board in your flights to Delhi by booking them through any online travel agency and start flying. You find ample number of cheap flights to Delhi and that will save your finances as well.

After they pick you up from Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be immediately taken to Shimla. Over the next week, spend time in Kufri, Manali, and Chandigarh where you will be provided tours, 6-nights’ accommodation, breakfast and dinner.
Day 1: After a pickup from the airport your driver will begin the journey to Shimla, a hill station and capital of Himachal Pradesh. Check into the hotel and spend the day at your leisure before dinner.
Day 2: (Shimla to Kufri to Shimla) Enjoy breakfast, then head out to Kufri, a region famous for its hiking and trekking routes. Indira Park and Fun World have fun activities for visitors along with giving you a panoramic view of the valley and peaks surrounding you. Return to Shimla in the evening and stroll around mall or ridge road. Trek through the woods to Mahasu peak and get an incredible view of the Himalayas or go for a yak or pony ride. Food is your call and you can make it according to your wishes. Choose eateries or else just return back to your chosen den to have the food there.
