Legend is that this is the spot where a descendant of Baba Gurditta Ji meditated for several years and was then visited by Guru Gobind Singh. Upon seeing Guru Gobind Singh, his ardent devotee requested him to restore water in the drought-ridden area. To fulfill his devotee’s humble wish, Guru Gobind Singh shot an arrow straight into the ground where a well replete with a staircase became visible. Hence, the name of the place came to be known as Baoli (step well) and the shrine came to be known as Baoli Sahib. There are scores of devotees that come to bathe in the waters of the baoli.
Thunder Zone Amusement and Water Park
Started in the year 2002, this is one of the most fun places to visit in Mohali. Sprawled across a massive area of about 11 acres, the amusement park is among the top attractions to enjoy with kids.
