Alaska Airlines is further enhancing the passenger experience with new hot meal options in its Main Cabin. This initiative is set to delight travelers on flights over 1,100 miles. The airline will bring back hot meals for purchase, previously reserved for business class passengers. The Seattle-based carrier aims to elevate in-flight dining with special chef-curated, West Coast-inspired dishes. The Alaska Airlines main cabin offerings will make travel enjoyable for passengers.

What will Alaska Airlines main cabin passengers get?

Now Alaska Airlines passengers can pre-order four new hot meal options that are available on flights that exceed 1,100 miles. Alaska Airlines menu options for the main cabin passengers are Carnitas Breakfast Bowl, Monte Cristo Breakfast Sandwich, Panang Curry Chicken, or Pretzel Roll Sliders with Chips.

These meals complement the existing cold offerings, like its popular fruit and cheese platter. Alaska Airlines passengers can pre-order their meals from two weeks to 20 hours before departure through the airline’s website or mobile app.

Chef-Curated Delights Onboard

British Chef Tony Wright, who has collaborated with Alaska Airlines’ catering service, LSG Sky Chefs, has curated this new menu. Wright’s creations are inspired by West Coast cuisine. This promises a fresh and flavorful dining experience. His culinary expertise aims to make in-flight meals delightful for passengers, adding a touch of gourmet to their journey.
