Golkonda Fort

Golkonda Fort was built in the 13th century by the Kakatiyas, who were the ruling dynasty of Andhra Pradesh. The fort was rebuilt by the ruling party ‘whims’; meanwhile, the treasure of diamonds was discovered and kept safely in the fort. The spooky story comes in the presence of Taramati, the paramour queen of the king. Both the king and queen were deeply in love. They both died in love and were buried together. It is believed that the queen still dances on her former stage and many spirits reside in the trees. Sometimes they also take the form of ownerless shadows. 

Not only this, but many people who come to Golkonda for shooting purposes late at night have experienced paranormal activities. It’s said that they heard troubling voices and shadows of undiscovered identities. It is one of those haunted places in Hyderabad that is strictly prohibited to roam after the day ends.

Many incidents occurred, like the presence of ghosts at night while flickering lights at night. People also get a strange vibe at night, while guards here have also witnessed paranormal activities.
