Vagamon’s famous glass bridge is now open to the public after a 125-day break. This India’s longest glass bridge, located at Kolahalamedu had been closed temporarily for safety inspections. After the necessary improvements, authorities approved the bridge’s reopening, promising a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. 

The glass bridge has become a must-visit spot in Vagamon, providing scenic views of distant locations like Kuttikkal, Kokkayar, & Mundakayam. Also, an adventure park that is located close to bridge includes attractions like sky cycling, sky wing, a zipline, a sky roller, a giant swing, and rocket injector rides, providing even more excitement for tourists who seek thrilling activities.

If you are wondering where is the longest glass bridge in India, you’ll find it in scenic hills of Vagamon, Kerala. It spans 40 meters and allows a maximum of 15 people on it at once to maintain safety. On its opening day, the bridge attracted around 600 tourists.  Here are some points to note that help you have a smooth visit.

The Vagamon glass bridge operates daily from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with entry tickets priced at INR 250 per person. Each visitor can enjoy the bridge for a maximum of 6 minutes, though operations may pause temporarily in unfavorable weather. For safety, only children who can walk independently are allowed on the bridge, while elderly visitors with mobility challenges are advised against visiting. Running or playing is prohibited; visitors should hold onto the handrails and walk slowly.

On weekends and holidays, visitors may face 2 to 3-hour wait times but can explore the nearby adventure park in the meantime.
