Determined to gain hands-on experience, she joined Carver Aviation Academy in Baramati, Maharashtra. Here, she logged over 200 hours of flying, mastering night flying and multi-engine operations within eight rigorous months.

Her dedication was evident as she cleared five DGCA exams before turning 18. However, she had to wait to sit for the radio transmission paper, a mandatory exam requiring candidates to be at least 18. Samaira’s determination bore fruit as she cleared it effortlessly, making her the youngest commercial pilot at 18.
