United Airlines has now reopened its Polaris lounge at Chicago airport. The expanded lounge will offer premium international travelers a spacious and luxurious pre-flight experience. The United Airlines Polaris Lounge underwent a significant renovation that increased its size from 16,000 to 25,000 square feet. Other upgrades at Chicago Polaris Lounge include renovated restrooms, additional seating along with various other amenities to better serve United Airlines passengers on long-haul international flights.

Who can access the expanded United Airlines Polaris Lounge at Chicago Airport?

Access to the Polaris Lounge Chicago is reserved for passengers flying in United Polaris business class on international long-haul routes. Travelers holding first or business class tickets on Star Alliance member airlines are also eligible for entry. Furthermore, holding elite status alone does not grant access; a qualifying ticket is required.

What are the enhanced amenities and services at the Chicago Polaris Lounge?

The refurbished lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport offers a range of premium amenities, including:

  1. Private seating areas for relaxation.
  2. Shower facilities to refresh before flights.
  3. Quiet rest zones with daybeds.
  4. A la carte dining options alongside buffet selections.

These features will provide a comfortable and exclusive environment for United Airlines passengers to unwind before their international flights. Notably, the United Airlines Polaris lounge’s reopening comes just in time for the busy summer travel period. This allows the airline to accommodate an expected increase in international travelers seeking premium services.
