Here, you can find some of the many adventure sports in Delhi NCR—such as natural rock climbing, rappelling, Tyrolean traverse, trekking, hiking to hidden lakes, zorbing, cycling, flying fox, river crossing, building rafts, and a low-rope obstacle course.The food here is no problem—there is a large variety you can find, something for everyone’s tastes. 2.Flying Fox
The Flying Fox is one of the most amazing adventure sports in Delhi NCR. It is essentially a zipline activity that you can find in Neemrana, just about 2 hours from the city. By one zipline, you can actually view the 15th-century Neemrana Fort. And that is not all – the others provide different views that are equally breathtaking. These ziplines let you fly over a height of 150 meters!
Each of the ziplines has a unique name. However, you must take care to listen to the instructor assigned carefully and do exactly as they say. This is because it is important to do this safely.
3.Joygaon
The Joygaon is a small village resort in Jhajjar, which is on average 2 hours away from Delhi. It is a weekend getaway place in Delhi. It is essentially a modern Indian village surrounded by glorious agricultural fields in an eco-friendly setup.
This resort offers you a series of experiences of an ethnic village – its culture, food, activities, dance, music, and indoor and outdoor games. Special attractions here include the V-shaped Burma Bridge (a bridge constructed over lakes, ponds, and gorges, commonly in pre-war Myanmar/Burma), rock climbing, rappelling, trampoline, roller zorbing, and shooting.
4.Bungee Jumping, Sainik Farm
The Wanderlust Xtreme Adventures in Sainik Farm added Bungee Jumping recently, when it reopened after the pandemic. It is still a relatively new concept in India and very well-worth trying, for the adventure enthusiasts. They have utilized German technology and safety standards. Here, you can go up to 170 feet in a bungee cage to bungee jump over the green landscape!
5.Indian Mountaineering Foundation
The Indian Mountaineering Foundation, situated in Delhi’s South campus is actually one of the best adventure things to do in the city. You will be provided with artificial rocks to climb from and while that is not the same as climbing an actual rock, you’re sure to have exactly the same experience. It is a great place to enhance your climbing skills, under the trained eyes of instructors.
This place was originally founded as the Sponsoring Committee of the Cho Oyu Expedition; in the year 1961. Later it was transformed into the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, a national body for mountaineering and allied sports.
6.Camp Tikkling
Bordered on three sides by the Aravalli Mountains, Camp Tikkling is one of the great adventure places in Delhi for people wanting to get away from the bustle and hustle of busy work life, especially since it located 35 km away from the noise of the city. Rest assured, you will want to stay here forever! You’re not going to get such peace anywhere else in the Delhi NCR! It’s pollution-free, noise-free, and nature-filled environment, something that we all need from time-to-time. Children can learn vital life skills here.
