To sample Philadelphia’s iconic food; head to Reading Terminal Market. It is an indoor farmers’ market and you will find food stalls here from around the city. Particularly famous here are the stalls by the Amish community selling homemade baked goods and other fresh produce. 

Take a walk around Franklin Square, which is a city park named after, of course, Benjamin Franklin. You will find both locals and tourists milling around the famous fountain in the park. 

Indulge in some shopping in Philadelphia by going to the site of the City Hall. Once you get the fill of the famous LOVE sign at the city’s LOVE Park (officially John F. Kennedy Plaza); head to Market Street (formerly High Street), Walnut Street, and Chestnut Street to shop from boutiques and other famous shops in Philadelphia. You can shop and then fuel up with a host of places to eat and drink in the area. 

To experience Philadelphia’s cultural diversity, head to South Street and enjoy the vibrant art and music scene along with some delicious food available here. You can also visit the Chinatown and the Italian Market to see the city’s cultural places up close. And of course; the food is amazing and authentic at these places.
