Dudhwa National Park to Reopen with Helicopter Safaris on November 15

Dudhwa National Park, located on the Indo-Nepal border in Lakhimpur Kheri to reopen on November 15 with thrilling new features. The park’s management is presently accepting bookings from wildlife enthusiasts who are ready to explore the park’s stunning natural beauty.

The park is implementing many initiatives to make tourists’ visits more accessible and enjoyable. Notably, they have significantly reduced their entry fees. And the upcoming helicopter service will change the way visitors experience parks. A car drive from Lucknow to Dudhwa takes approximately 5 hours, but the helicopter ride cuts that time in half. 

The closest helipad to Dudhwa is only 7 kms away, enabling a speedy 20-minute journey to the park. Additionally, the helicopter service has been set up in partnership with the civil aviation department and will be affordable for visitors. This innovative method of transport is expected to improve the whole Dudhwa experience.

They plan to offer free entry to school students and children under the age of 5 in the coming year, encouraging more families to explore the park’s amazing natural beauty. In addition, the state government is inviting investors to build hotels within a one-kilometer radius of the park, providing guests with convenient overnight options. As a further added advantage, the park has reduced the cost of its journey from INR 300 to INR 150 per person, making the area’s vast natural beauty and gorgeous surroundings even more accessible to everyone. It helps both visitors and the local economy.
