Final Air India A350 with Interiors from Russian Carrier Aeroflot Arrives in Delhi

Air India has been receiving A350 jets from its order of 40 Airbus A350 aircraft. It consists of 20 A350-900s and 20 A350-1000s. The sixth Airbus A350 was recently delivered to Air India. This was the last A350 to be delivered with Russian airline Aeroflot’s interiors. 

Expansion Plans with Induction of New Air India A350 Aircraft

The worldwide expansion strategy of Air India, which includes the introduction of new destinations in North America like Dallas (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), and Seattle (SEA), will heavily rely on its A350 fleet. With a noteworthy 34% annual rise in cargo capacity, Air India’s overseas operations have topped 50% over the past two years.

Air India Expands A350 Operations

Air India is expanding its Airbus A350 operations with the deployment of the aircraft on the Mumbai-Dubai route, effective June 1, 2024. The A350 in Air India fleet will replace the Boeing 787 for the Flight AI983. It will offer passengers enhanced comfort and amenities. Indian Eagle travel is offering the best airfare on this route. If you want to experience flying in Air India A350 aircraft, you can make your booking early. 

Departing from Mumbai (BOM) at 20:25 IST, AI983 will arrive at Dubai (DXB) at 21:55 Gulf Standard Time (GST). The return flight, AI984, will take off from DXB at 23:40 GST and land back in BOM at 4:20 IST.

Air India’s A350 deployment on the Mumbai-Dubai route complements its recent launch of Delhi-Dubai flights. This marked the carrier’s first international route for the A350. These two routes are welcoming news for those traveling from USA to India or vice versa.
