Zoom Video Communications has unveiled its latest innovation, the ‘Intelligent Director,’ an AI-powered solution designed to revolutionize hybrid meetings in medium- to larger-sized rooms. The company aims to address the challenges of remote collaboration by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and multiple cameras to deliver optimal visuals of participants in real-time.

The Intelligent Director ensures that remote attendees can clearly see each person in the room, even in massive conference settings, by intelligently selecting the best image and angle through Zoom’s advanced AI technology. This breakthrough feature enhances meeting equity and inclusion, allowing team members to connect face-to-face regardless of their physical location.

With a growing number of employees working remotely while others are in the office, meeting equity and inclusion have become paramount. The Intelligent Director bridges this gap, enabling seamless connection and engagement among all participants.

The Intelligent Director uses AI algorithms to optimize the video stream and frame up to 16 individuals in a Zoom Room with multiple cameras.

Building upon the success of Zoom’s Smart Gallery feature, which grants in a Zoom Meeting, each participant has their own place in a small to medium-sized room, the Intelligent Director extends this technology to larger conference rooms.
