TSA PreCheck provides hassle-free airport experiences to millions of passengers. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has now partnered with CLEAR to provide passengers an expedited security screening at select airports in the USA. With this, CLEAR has become the third official TSA PreCheck partner. This program was established in 2013 for low-risk individuals and has seen a steady rise in membership, surpassing 19 million active participants.

TSA’s partnership with CLEAR showcases its commitment to enhancing the efficiency of airport security procedures while offering a seamless travel experience for passengers. This will allow passengers to enroll in TSA PreCheck and renew their memberships conveniently during extended hours of operation.

At which airports in the USA has CLEAR been announced as the official TSA PreCheck partner?

Clear has become the official TSA PreCheck partner only at Orlando International Airport (MCO), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and Sacramento International Airport (SMF). Passengers can enroll or renew TSA PreCheck membership at dedicated CLEAR enrollment pods at these airports in USA. Meanwhile, the number of airports offering CLEAR enrollment is also expected to grow over time.

How can TSA PreCheck members renew their membership?

In order to skip the crowd and go through the TSA PreCheck line, members can renew their memberships online through CLEAR, IDEMIA, or Telos. This is regardless of their initial enrollment location.

What are the benefits of TSA PreCheck?

TSA PreCheck has over 19 million enrolled members since its launch in 2013. It offers expedited security screening with wait times typically under 10 minutes. Members can keep their belts, shoes, and light jackets on, as well as leave laptops and liquids in carry-on bags.

Are there any new updates to the TSA PreCheck program?

Yes, the TSA PreCheck program now allows teenagers aged 13-17 to accompany enrolled parents or guardians through screening. While children 12 and under can join their enrolled family members without any restrictions.

As CLEAR becomes a new TSA PreCheck partner, this marks a significant step in enhancing airport security and streamlining the travel experience for millions of passengers across the country.
