Tata-owned Air India launched a new campaign called There is an Air About India, reflecting the confident spirit of modern India. The campaign is the airline’s initiative under the Tata Group.

This campaign was featured on digital and print media and Indian , as well as global billboards. It also says much about Air India’s ambition on the global front because it continues to serve passengers on domestic and international flights from major airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

About the New Air India Campaign

The new Air India ad has been created in collaboration with McCann Worldgroup. The digital film is set to a rap-style soundtrack composed by Sneha Khanwalkar and performed by emerging artist Aarya Jadhao.

The video blends images of traditional India, such as rituals and folk dances, with scenes from modern cityscapes and technological hubs. The phrase There is an Air About India is featured throughout the campaign, reinforcing that Air India represents India’s identity as it flies across the globe.

What’s New at Air India under Tata Group?

Since rejoining the Tata Group in 2022, Air India has launched Vihaan.AI, a five-year transformation program. The airline’s goal is to become a world-class global carrier. The campaign supports this vision by redefining its image for Indian and international travelers alike.

Air India has already announced:

  • A $400 million investment to upgrade its existing fleet
  • The opening of South Asia’s largest aviation training academy
  • A new flying school for pilot training
  • A modern Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility

These steps are designed to help Air India keep pace with India’s fast-growing aviation market, which served over 350 million passengers last year.

Air India continues to operate international flights connecting India with the United States and other global destinations. With its fleet and service being modernized, travelers booking through Indian Eagle deals can look forward to a better flying experience.

The Air India campaign is a nod to India’s evolution and energy. Whether you’re flying to the USA or visiting India for the first time, you’ll feel the difference. As the ad says, There is an Air About India.
