Adalaj Stepwell (19 km)

Adalaj Stepwell is a wonder in stone and counted among the best places to visit near Ahmedabad for those who love all things history. Built in the 15th century, it served both beauty and purpose. Back in the day, it provided water and cool air in summers and now it provides a serene escape into the past. The carvings are detailed and beautiful. It’s just half an hour’s drive from Ahmedabad. Gandhinagar (25 km)

Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat. It is well-planned and green. The Akshardham Temple here is a major attraction. The temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It has a large garden and a water show in the evening. The Children’s Park and Indroda Dinosaur Park are also worth visiting. 

Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary (60 km)
