Chennai Airport T4 Operations Begin for Domestic Flights

Chennai International Airport has started operations at Terminal 4, which provides effective relief for domestic flyers. With the inauguration of domestic services on Tuesday, November 14, directed by the Airports Authority of India, the trail of Chennai Airport T4 operations has officially begun.

The First Flight of Air India

An Air India flight started its trial with 148 people between Chennai and Port Blair. It took off on the first flight into Terminal T4. After that, the flight carrying 152 people took off between Chennai and Bengaluru indicating a potential start of operations from this new terminal. This significant change is not only applied to domestic flights but also to most flights to Chennai.

Upcoming Migration of Air Asia and Vistara

Vistara and Air Asia’s domestic flights will also migrate to the Chennai Airport T4 operations in the coming weeks, according to airport authorities. This would streamline operations at Chennai International Airport even more and enable a smooth integration. So, if you are traveling with Indian Eagle flights soon, you can experience the world-class Chennai Airport and see these changes all by yourself.
