The newly designed seats have received a positive reception and boast impressive features. Delta Airlines Boeing 737 800 first-class cabins will now have large privacy wings, enhanced storage options, improved inflight entertainment, and versatile reclining seat choices. The configuration will feature sixteen first-class seats arranged in a comfortable 2-2 layout.

In addition to the reclining seats, Delta is implementing other noteworthy upgrades to the Boeing 737-800 fleet. Lavatories are getting a modern touch with hands-free technology. This features touchless flushing and sensor-based handwashing facilities. It will likely enhance hygiene and passenger convenience.

How many aircraft from the Delta Fleet will be transformed? 

The comprehensive transformation covers 76 Boeing 737-800 aircraft currently undergoing these cutting-edge upgrades. The projected timeline aims to complete the retrofitting process by the end of 2025. This will ensure that passengers traveling on aircraft across the Delta fleet can enjoy the futuristic first-class experience.
