Odisha is organizing an eco-retreat festival at Pentha beach next month, inviting tourists for a memorable sojourn amid pristine nature.

After the success of the 3-month-long eco-retreat festival organized near Bhitarkanika National Park last year, the Tourism Department of Odisha plans to host a similar fête in Kendrapara district, this time at Pentha beach. The Pentha eco-retreat festival is going to begin from Nov 15 and will continue for 106 days till March 1, 2022.

Unexplored and unspoiled, Pentha Sea beach is one of Odisha’s best-kept secrets. This tranquil beach with its idyllic location near a mangrove, pine, and casuarina forest cover is sure to leave nature lovers in awe of its scenic beauty. The seaside is around 3 km long, and one can spot many crabs on the shore. Haven’t been to this beach yet? This eco-retreat festival is the best opportunity to explore this untouched beach while experiencing Odisha’s hospitality. Grab the amazing flight deals available at Indian Eagle and book cheap flights to Bhubaneswar Airport (the nearest airport to Pentha beach).

Apart from the stunning views of nature, there are going to be cultural programs, food fests, adventure activities, photo exhibitions, seminar-cum-exhibition of films on Bhitarkanika and more on offer during the three-and-a-half-month eco-retreat festival at Pentha beach. Visitors can stay at one of the 15 luxurious tents to be arranged by the tourism ministry for the event. These tents come with water and power supply besides parking facilities. Moreover, this camping site will be set up close to the forest that spans 5 km so that visitors feel at one with nature during their stay here.

By organizing the eco-retreat festival at Pentha beach, Odisha adds another untouched spot to its eco-retreat destinations. The state has been organizing such festivals at Konark, Bhitarkanika, Hirakud, Satkosia and Daringbadi in a bid to promote eco-tourism.
