Diverse Attendees at the G20 Summit 2023 in Delhi

Apart from its member nations, the G20 extends invitations to non-member countries and international organizations for participation in its meetings and summits. This year, during India’s G20 presidency, a roster of guest countries has been invited. Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain, and the UAE have received invitations to join the summit.

Additionally, specific international organizations, including the International Solar Alliance, the Coalition of Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, and the Asian Development Bank, have been invited as guest organizations. India has also extended invitations to the heads of certain regional organizations, including the African Union, the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
