The craze for selfies knows no bounds, especially among the youth today. Along with living every moment, they have taken to capturing life’s every little moment in the most beautiful (and creative) way. Are you one of them too? What if we tell you that there is an amazing place in Hyderabad where you can celebrate your selfie obsession? Yes, the newly-opened Hyd Selfie Museum, the first of its kind in India, does exactly that!

With over 20 ‘eye-popping, colorful and interactive’ sets, Hyd Selfie Museum can easily become a favorite spot for selfie addicts. You can strike a pose in front of the barbie’s box or go retro and get a classic photograph in the 19th-century London Telephone Booth.

Bright and colorful mosaic frames, retro cassette sets, radiant rooms, artistic corners, doughnut-themed walls, monochrome backgrounds, a millionaire bedroom, a colorful ball pit and much more are on offer for those looking for unique photography ideas.

“The museum will offer photo opportunities that visitors will not find anywhere else in the country; after all, it is the country’s first selfie museum,” said Rahul Anand, the founder of Hyd Selfie Museum, to Telangana Today.

The museum allows only eight to ten people per slot so that there is enough space for everyone to get the perfect click they had imagined. Even if you are not a selfie expert, you can still get a nice photograph of yours captured with the help of trained staff. Advance booking of the slots is also made available.

At Hyd Selfie Museum, there are different selfie ackages for children below 10 years, adult groups, and families. The 30-minute selfie pass for adults will cost INR 300 whereas the 1-hour package is priced at INR 500.

Hyd Selfie Museum is open from 12.30 pm to 11:30 pm on all days. It is located within the Punjabi Haveli Dhaba campus in the Shamirpet suburb of the city. Visit this unique museum the next time you fly down to Hyderabad and tell us about your experience.
