The world-class Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya is all set to begin operations soon. Designed keeping in mind the cultural and religious importance, the airport looks no less than a traditional temple but with a modern touch. And as the airport is ready to welcome passengers, India’s leading airline, Indigo is all set to operate the inaugural flight to Ayodhya Airport on 30th December 2023.  

Ayodhya to serve as Indigo’s 86th destination in India. After the successful operation of the inaugural flight to Ayodhya Airport, commercial operations are scheduled to begin from 6th January 2024. This is a milestone in the airline’s plan to increase connectivity. Indigo was also recently adjudged as the 6th largest airline in the world in terms of market value.

Flights to Ahmedabad from Ayodhya

Following the Delhi-Ayodhya route, IndiGo plans to further expand its services. Starting 6th January 2024, regular commercial operations between Delhi and Ayodhya will kick off. Additionally, tri-weekly flights connecting Ahmedabad and Ayodhya are set to commence from 11th January 2024, providing even more accessibility and convenience for travelers.
