It consists of a Scuba Diving course of your choice, stay, food, local sightseeing, boat-ride to and from Netrani Island, cost of photos and videos, first-aid, diving equipment, and a life jacket. The cost begins from INR 800 and goes right up to INR 8000, depending on the level that you choose.

Types of Scuba Diving Courses

There are 2 types of Scuba Diving available at Netrani Island: Single Scuba Dive and PADI/SSI course. You can opt for any depending on your requirements.

  1. Single Scuba Diving: Single Scuba dive can be attempted by any person with basic fitness and stamina to do the diving. An instructor will brief you about different hand gestures that should be used for communication when underwater, basic breathing principles, and how to use the scuba equipment given to you. The instructor stays right beside the learner, so you can be at ease and learn Scuba Diving without worries.
  2. PADI/SSI: People keen on performing solo-Scuba Diving can take on a certification course under PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) or SSI (Scuba School International). The duration of the course is usually 5-7 days and incorporate 3 modules via classroom sessions, confined dive sessions in swimming pools, and open water diving. After finishing the course, you should be able to do Scuba Diving without a guide to assist you, depending on your skill-level.

Things You Should Carry

You must carry the following things when going for Scuba Diving:

  1. A small bag of essentials
  2. A few water bottles
  3. Swimwear
  4. A pair of towels
  5. An extra pair of shorts and shirts
  6. Sunglasses
  7. Sunscreen
  8. Light snacks
  9. Energy drinks

You will be taken on a ferry to a distance, then you will be guided on the diving.
