The 24th Hornbill Festival in Nagaland Comes to an End

The 10-day-long extravaganza, the Hornbill Festival 2023, concluded at The Heritage Village, Kisama. It started on 1st December and continued until 10th December, The grand closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests. Representatives from three Native American communities were present at the 24th Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, making it possibly the first in India to include such representation. 

The Hornbill festival plays a key role in bringing together diverse tribes, governmental entities, business figures, and artists to showcase their cultural heritage. The festival symbolizes themes of faithfulness, commitment, and unity, as depicted in Naga traditions.

Bonfire and Unity Dance

The closing ceremony witnessed the lighting of the bonfire by dignitaries. The 24th Hornbill Festival in Nagaland concluded with a symbolic ‘Unity Dance,’ symbolizing harmony amid diversity.

Noted Bollywood and Telugu music director Sandeep Chowta graced the ceremony, with cultural performances by Made in Nagaland and an after-party featuring Stardust, Fatal Attraction, and Ethereal Verse.
