Star players making a comeback, young players eager to show their talent and addition of new rules will definitely add new flavors to Tata IPL 2023. With the return of the home-away format, the teams will now have the benefit of playing in their home grounds amidst cheers from their fans.

IPL 2023 new rules include, announcement of the playing 11 after the toss, call for DRS after wides or no-balls, wicket-keepers to be penalized for unfair movements behind the stumps, a penalty for slow over rate, wherein a fielder must be placed inside the 30-yard circle for every over bowled after the 90-minute time limit.

The opening match will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans and 4-time winners, Chennai Super Kings. The thrilling match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. One of India’s best cricketing brains and captain cool, MS Dhoni will be captaining CSK while the leader-in-waiting, Hardik Pandya will be the skipper for Gujarat Titans for IPL 2023.
