Aeromall, the multi-facility hub at Pune Airport, was inaugurated by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on 25th November 2022. The 120-crore project offers a multi-level parking facility that can accommodate up to 1,000 vehicles across the two basement levels and terrace. This is expected to ease the parking woes at Pune Airport. Passengers can directly enter the airport terminal building from here via a skywalk.
The newly-constructed Aeromall also comes with retail outlets, working spaces, and a food court. Reportedly, all floors of the parking building will feature displays to let passengers know the arrival and departure times of flights as well as their status.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Scindia also spoke about the new integrated terminal at Pune Airport. He said that about 75% of the construction work has been completed and most likely, it will be ready by May 2023.
