There is some good news for WhatsApp users. Recently, WhatsApp introduced a new communities feature, which allows people to create multiple sub-groups and manage them all in one place. Users can now connect and chat with multiple users in the group at the same time. After some time in testing, the feature has now officially begun to be rolled out to people all over the world.
WhatsApp has announced that the communities have continues to roll out globally and will be available to all Android and iOS users in the coming months. All group chats will be accessible via a dedicated section on WhatsApp. Communities will enable people to form multiple groups with common interests and bring them together in a structure that works for them. They are ideal for school, the office, and a variety of other settings.
Once you joined the communities you can easily switch between available groups to get the information you need when you need it, and administrators can send important updates to everyone in the community. Similar to other conversations on the platform, the new WhatsApp Communities will adhere to a higher level of security, including end-to-end encryption. It will support group chats of up to 1,024 people, video calls of up to 32 people, and in-chat polls. This includes the ability to share large files, and emoji reactions.
The introduction of new community feature would help users to make discussions in WhatsApp groups more productive and meaningful.
