If you are visiting Delhi between 13th to 16th October and interested in art then an exciting event awaits you. India Art Festival Delhi Edition is scheduled on these dates at Constitution Club of India. If you are a resident and looking to spend a day amidst art and related conversations then this is the place to be in Delhi on the dates mentioned above.

Other City Editions

If you miss the Delhi event then you can attend the editions in Bengaluru and Mumbai later. For the former the dates are 8-11 December at Palace Ground and for the latter 19-22 January at Nehru Centre. If the Mumbai edition seems really far away then you can attend the Mumbai Art Fair by the same organizers and at the same venue from 28-30 October, 2022.

Events

Displays, Discussions, and Conversations are major attractions at India Art Festival. The first two categories are self-explanatory. Conversations is a seminar and often scheduled for two days at every edition. It consists of panel discussions with prominent professionals and personalities from the world of art. The experts can include gallerists, critics, museum directors, historians, art experts etc. The discussion subjects can include art collections, art infrastructure, art and economy etc.

About India Art Festival

It is a festival and meeting place for contemporary art and was conceived in 2011. The event focusses on art galleries as well as independent artists. The festival itself is a place for collusion between artists, art galleries, buyers, dealers, architects, interior designers along with art aficionados. It also offers a showcasing and networking platform for emerging and new artists. One important endeavor of the entire festival is to showcase and bring together emerging artists from both urban and rural areas. The group also publishes an in-house journal called the ‘Indian Contemporary Art Journal’.  The event also attracts participants from other countries in the Indian sub-continent.
