Emirates airline has unveiled plans to enhance its fleet with a significant retrofit program. This will encompass 71 aircraft, including 43 Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft and 28 Boeing 777s. The program is valued at over $2 billion. This ambitious initiative underscores Emirates’ commitment to delivering unparalleled comfort and luxury to its passengers.

This retrofit program aims to completely refurbish and modernize the interiors of Emirates’ flagship A380s and Boeing 777s. With the installation of new cabin products and improved interiors, Emirates seeks to enhance the onboard experience for travelers across all classes. This will also include the introduction of premium economy seats.

Emirates Boeing 777 Upgrade will Redefine Business Class Luxury

Emirates Boeing 777 fleet will also undergo a significant upgrade. The airline will introduce all-new business class seats in a sophisticated 1-2-1 configuration. Additionally, the revamped Emirates first class cabin and the introduction of premium economy seating will provide passengers with an unparalleled level of comfort and convenience.

How many seats will Emirates add with the new retrofit program? 

Upon completion of the retrofit program, Emirates will add over 42,000 new seats across all cabins. It includes Emirates economy, business, first class, and premium economy. This significant investment showcases Emirates’ dedication to offering passengers with an unparalleled travel experience. The Emirates retrofit program is expected to set new standards of excellence in the aviation industry.

Emirates’ commitment to enhancing its fleet extends beyond the retrofit program. The airline has plans to debut premium economy seating on select routes and introduce the Airbus A350 to its fleet. Emirates first A350 set to enter service in September 2024 and it will operate flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad with seven other destinations across Asia, Middle East and Europe.
