The title was bestowed by the esteemed global aviation intelligence platform, ch-aviation. 

IndiGo airline has received this recognition for the 2nd consecutive year in the 100+ aircraft fleet category. This achievement underscores the airline’s commitment to maintaining a cutting-edge fleet, with an average fleet age of 3.94 years.

It also operated the inaugural flight to Ayodhya Airport recently. Furthermore, the carrier made history by becoming the first in the country to achieve 2000 daily departures through seamless IndiGo flights.

ch-aviation’s selection process considered active commercial operators with five or more aircraft, excluding VIP configurations. With a comprehensive industry database covering over 77,000 aircraft, 4,800 active airlines, and 2,900 aircraft owners, ch-aviation ensured a rigorous evaluation process.
