Jim Corbett National Park, which is located in District Ramgarh of Uttarakhand was the first national park in India to reopen on October 1st. Home to the mighty Royal Bengal tigers, it’s a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts. During your visit, you can also spot barking deers, chital deers, leopards, Himalayan black bears etc. 

Apart from Jim Corbett National Park, the Ranthambore National Park located in Rajasthan and the Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra also reopened on October 1. 

Kanha National Park to Reopen on October 15

The Kanha National Park located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh is set to reopen on October 15. Although the previous date for its reopening was set to be October 1, it was later changed. This is one of the most-visited national parks in India and is also renowned for housing the mighty tigers among many other animals. 

Madhya Pradesh’s Bandhavgarh National Park is also set to welcome tourists again from October 15. Even this national park is popular for Bengal tiger sightings. If you are up for an adventure, you can also opt for elephant safaris and jeep safaris. 

Other National Parks in India to Reopen After Monsoon

Apart from the national parks in India mentioned above, the following national parks are also set to reopen soon: 

  1. Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh will reopen on October 16. 
  2. Pench National Park in Madhya Pradesh will reopen on October 16. 
  3. Kaziranga National Park in Assam will reopen on November 1. 

These national parks in India to reopen in October and November will welcome tourists from around the world. Be it domestic or international flight tickets, by road or rail, tourists will use every means of transportation to get to their favorite national park in India.
